This attestation relies primarily on a formal demonstration of its task-specific competence by the conformity assessment body, evaluated via professional and objective audits by the Accreditation Body, typically by way of ISO/IEC 17065 : 'Conformity assessment — Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services'.

") accreditation of Intertek as of 5 November 2024. ANAB will continue to monitor and review the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions during its forthcoming assessment. In addition, ANAB will monitor ongoing certification and recertification activities of Intertek through outlined monitoring requirements (e.g., reporting to ANAB, increasing oversight and more frequent assessments). As a result of the suspension lift, Intertek is now fully authorized to resume operations as an Approved CB for relevant programs.
