Mr Sumit Gupta, GOTS Representative in India and Bangladesh, will be making a presentation on "[Organics](https://gots.vorschau.website/resources/glossary/organic "<p>'Organic' is a regulated term used to distinguish systems of managed production and products derived therefrom that adhere to principles of health, ecology, fairness and care, and which are certified compliant to an organic standard's regulations by an Approved Certification Body. <br>GOTS defines organic textiles as being made with fibres from organic agriculture systems that are certified to one of the IFOAM Family of Standards, and that are processed in socially and ecologically responsible ways, in alignment with organic principles.</p>") in Home Textile industry – The GOTS Perspective". The one day seminar is scheduled alongside the [Heimtextil India 2015](http://heimtextil-india.in.messefrankfurt.com/newdelhi/en/exhibitors/welcome.html) Trade Fair on 26 June 2015 at Hall 11, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

“Sustainability” is today one of the major current trends and focus of the textile and furnishings sector. The Speaker Panel would comprise of leading industry players and consultants in the textile and fashion industry, who will offer insights into the latest trends and global market developments in Sustainability at various stages of the Textile value chain.
